Cream cheese brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
    cream cheese frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Make brownies by creaming sugar with butter, then mixing in rest of the ingredients until smooth.
  2. Mix cream cheese by whipping the cream cheese first, then adding the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Spread brownie mix on a greased and floured pan, then pour cream cheese mix over it.
  4. Run a knife through over and over to create a marble effect.
  5. Bake in a 9"x9" pan for thick brownies (9"x13" for thin) at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes.
