Smoked BBQ Ribs V1
Instructions
Night Before
- Place ribs (cut in half) in crock pot.
- Add 2-3 cans of beer
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- handful of bay leaves
- salt, pepper, cumin, onion and garlic powder, chili powder, paprika
- healthy dose of Frank's
- 1/2 tsp Insanity sauce
- water until ribs are covered
- 11pm put crock pot on 'warm'
- 1am put crock pot on 'low'
- 8am turn crock pot to 'warm'
- 12pm put crock pot on 'low'
- 1pm put crock pot on 'high'
Smoke - Smoke at 2pm
- Baste in own juices; 1/2 stock, 1/2 vinegar
- 3:30pm remove all juices
- smoke dry
- 4:30pm start saucing
- 5:30pm remove from heat and rest for 30 minutes
