The Very Best Granola
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts, seeds, and coconut flakes
- 1 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4-1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees, and line a large lipped baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir together. In a separate bowl, use the microwave to gently melt the coconut oil, and once cooled stir in the rest of the wet ingredients.
- Toss together until all of the oats are coated well.
- Spread onto the baking sheet, and put into the oven.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until nice and toasty.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
